This solid oak, Mennonite-crafted deacon’s bench has been refinished in an elegant taupe. The seat has been carefully sanded, stained in a smoky brown-grey tone, and sealed with a smooth, durable polyurethane finish. Lifting the seat reveals generous hidden storage below, enhanced with a newly added lid-support hinge that holds the bench open effortlessly when needed.

Sprayed with professional grade cabinet paint and topcoat, the finish is exceptionally durable and flawless — no brush strokes or roller marks, just a smooth, factory-like surface.
